John Andresen: From Norway With Love

WE HAVE SAID IT BEFORE AND WE SAY IT AGAIN. ALL THOUGH WE ALL TEND TO LOOK TO THE FAR SOUTH TO FIND BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLES OF MASCULINITY, THERE IS ALSO PLENTY TO FIND IN THE NORTHERN REGIONS.

In the recent past we have showed you examples from Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands and even Sweden. Not to forget the beautiful men from Norway, portrayed in such clean and sober way as probably only photographer John Andresen can do. John Andresen seems to have a preference for athletes, and why not. These man have a natural flexibility and masculinity, but often an innocence that professional models don’t have.

His latest additions to his already impressive portfolio website are no exception to this.First there is Kim Idar Molnes, a 19 years old wrestler from Norway, who makes us realize we wouldn’t mind to be in a squash angle with him at all. The other series is with Andreas and Paulo, two ballet dancers with a strength and flexibility that makes your heart beat faster.

John Andresen 43 years old and living in Oslo, is not an unknown face here on Beautiful. He appeared for the first time in April 2006, with his Beautiful Thursday portrait of Jan from Norway, and submitted his second entry for this popular gallery in May 2006, entitled ‘Vakker menn fra Norge’– beautiful men from Norway.
