Ever since the first Dieux Du Stade calendar came out, featuring the French national rugby team in all their glory, it has become a trend to print likewise pieces with all kinds of men naked. From athletes to firemen to farmers, you name it. One of the latest additions to this list is the 2008 calendar featuring some of the hottest football players from the Australian continent, all nicely muscled, greased up and bad-boy looking. But these gentlemen did not go naked without a cause. The calendar that counts 30 pages and 19 months (did you realize that our years are getting longer every year another sexy calendar find his way onto the market) only comes in limited edition and the proceeds go to The McGrath Foundation, a charity supporting women living with breast cancer.

The creative brain behind the beautiful imagery of the Naked For A Cause 2008 calendar is the talented photographer Pedro Virgil. DNA Magazine runs a nice little interview with Daniel Conn, one of the calendar’s stars on their website. Other interview can be found on the Naked For A Cause website, as well as a competition in which you can actually win one of the calendar and thus have the chance to hang all 28 featured football players on your wall for free.
