Boxing Day at Beautiful

THERE ARE MANY LEGENDS CONNECTED TO THE MYTHICAL FIGURE OF SANTA CLAUS. IN FACT, IT LOOKS LIKE THE STORY TAKES DIFFERENT TURNS DEPENDING ON THE CULTURE IT IS ADAPTED TO. WE PREFER THE AMERICAN VERSION, SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THIS IS THE VERSION THAT INCLUDES THE MAGICAL ELFS.

The legend tells us that Santa lives in the far north, the land of perpetual snow. There he makes his list of children throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior. There he also makes all the candy and toys the good boys and girls receive at Christmas. All with the help of his magical elfs.

Now this is all very nice, but it is the point of distribution where the story becomes a bit harder to believe. I mean, really, how can one man with a handful of elfs deliver all these gifts to everybody in one night? It is almost inevitable that sometimes one or two elfs stay behind to do some late deliveries, which can result in gifts that come a little bit later. And that is what our Boxing Day is all about.

Today, on Wednesday, we give you an extra Thursday. A Beautiful Thursday that is. Featuring Dutch model Joris, fresh from the portfolio from malemodel.nl photographer Gert Kist. Gert shot Joris as a naughty elf, but with his heart at the right place. And that is exactly how we like to see our elfs. Oh, and don’t worry. If we say extra, we mean extra. Tomorrow there will be another Beautiful Thursday. –B-
