The Porn Star Interviews | Ludovic Canot: Gimme More

YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ALWAYS SAY ABOUT DREAMS. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH, ONE DAY YOU WILL GET IT. LUDOVIC CANOT WANTED IT BAD, REALLY BAD. AND HE GOT IT. OR SHOULD WE SAY, HE IS GETTING IT. BECAUSE LUDOVIC IS NOT FINISHED YET. IN FACT, HE IS HAS PUT HIS FIRST STEPS ON THE PATH OF INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS AND IS LIKELY TO GO ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP.

Ludovic Canot has been intrigued by porn movies ever since he was young. Not so much in the way that everybody is intrigued by adult entertainment – although that most certainly also had to do with it – but more in the sense of curiosity about what it would be like to actually do porn. So when he got a chance to experience it last February, he grabbed it with both hands. The chance that is. Over the last 10 months, Ludovic has made a remarkable start and is rapidly making his way west, from his hometown Paris to California, which is the mecca of the gay adult industry. So before Ludovic grabs his international chance fully and goes overseas, we grabbed him while still in Paris (no, not fully) and had a nice little chat with him at home.

Ludovic Canot is a name that pops up more and more in the gay entertainment world. But who is Ludovic actually?
Ludovic Canot: Ludovic Canot is French, I live in Paris and I just finished my marketing studies. I’m 25 years old, love to listen to music, which I do constantly, and watch scary movies, like ‘Saw,’ ‘Hostel’ and ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ (the one with Jessica Biel of course!). Oh, and I also very much like the margarita they serve at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

From marketing student to acting in gay porn movies is quite  a step. What made you decide to enter the business?
Ludovic: I just finished my studies last year and decided to take a break, to travel, and find out what I really would like to do in my life. During this free time I tried something that had really excited me during many years: acting in a porn movie. I was actually thinking about this for a while already. Wanted to see what it was like, what happens during a day of shooting, what the boys who act are like, etc… ad I learned a lot!
Of all the many porn stars, is there someone who really inspired you and if so, why?
Ludovic: Yes, there are two guys who really inspired me: Fred Faurtin and François Sagat. Last summer I was in Los Angeles where I worked on a few porn movies, and I realized François Sagat has become a huge star in the United States (and everywhere else). He is on magazines, postcards, DVD’s, events, etc. I met him on a set for a Titan movie, but unfortunately didn’t have a scene together. But he was really kind to me and gave me some advice.

I met Fred Faurtin on the set of Desperate House Husbands 2. We had two scenes together, with some other guys, and we shared a hotel room. He really was like a big brother to me during these days, which I really appreciated. François and Fred are both very successful porn stars, with each their own way to drive their career.

Ludovic, in your short career, you already have acted in movies for several production companies, who all have there own style. Cadinot, Lucas Entertainment, Diapopic, Cazzo, Private, Titan, Studio 2000 and recently you made your debut at MenAtPlay. Can you tell us if you have a preference for a certain company, and why?
Ludovic: It is difficult to choose because, as you say, they are all really different and they all have something that I like. I really liked working in Budapest for Lucas Entertainment and Private, just because the guys are really my type – lol . The crew at Titan was really sweet and kind, and yes, the team at MenAtPlay is adorable and sexy too… it would be to difficult to pick one if I had to right now.
So we will make that choice easier on you. Just imagine, Beautiful decides to go into the business and has a huge budget to make the film of the year. We want you to star in it. We give you creative freedom and thus you can do the scene you always wanted to do. What would it look like, where would you like to do it and, most important, with who?
Ludovic: Ah, OK… so I would like the scene to take place in the Grand Canyon, and I would like to cast all the Hungarian porn actors, have sex with them one by one and at the end having them cum all over me together. Mmmm, yes, I think it can be cool… so when are we shooting?

Before that we would like to get to know you a little bit more intimate…
What do you like to wear when you are at home?
Ludovic: I’m usually in jogging pants at home.
And what when you are in bed?
Ludovic: Like a real porn actor I sleep naked of course!
What is your biggest quality?
Ludovic: I guess I'm funny.
What is your biggest flaw?
Ludovic: Well, I think I watch too much my TV.
Do you have a boyfriend (or is there still a chance for one of our readers)?
Ludovic: For the moment I’m single… ☺
What do you sing in the shower?
Ludovic: Gimme More from Britney Spears of course… what else?

Ludovic: First I would like to be Britney Spears’ new manager. Second, to have enough money for my family and friends, and myself of course, and finally, third, I would like to be married and have two kids with the most beautiful Hungarian guy.

What holds the future for Ludovic Canot?
Ludovic: I hope to go back to California and act for ChiChi LaRue, Hot House, and win a GayVN (I’m kidding).

Over the past ten months Ludovic Canot has participated in many different film projects that are all about to be released in the coming two months. Desperate House Husbands 2, produced by Private TKO/Studio 2000 is in shops now. Beginning 2008 will bring Titan's Chainsaw and Nightscope. His cooperation with Cazzo will result in a film to be released this month, but the title has not been released as of yet. Ludovic can also be seen in action in a new Falcon International release, as well as in a movie by Wurstfilm, but for these as well a title has not been given yet.
