BLACKS BEACH IS KNOWN FOR MANY THINGS. FOR STARTS, IT IS A POPULAR BEACH IN LA JOLLA, SAN DIEGO. PART OF THE BEACH LIES IN A STATE PARK WHERE THE NATURE IS BREATH TAKING. AND FINALLY IT IS ALSO A BEACH WHERE NUDITY IS LEGAL AND IT IS MOST PROBABLY THE LARGEST NUDE BEACH IN THE UNITED STATES. BUT THAT IS NOT THE REASON WHY DYLAN ROSSER WENT THERE LAST SUMMER WHEN HE WAS VISITING THE WEST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES.
Some weeks ago, London based South African photographer Dylan Rosser took a well deserved break at the west coast of the USA. But a break for Dylan always include a bit of work. Which is logical when your work is your passion. Hence Dylan went on a vacation with his best friend: his camera. And Dylan wouldn’t be Dylan if he hadn’t planned a couple of shoots with a couple of guys. Sexy guys.
His first stop was San Diego where Dylan Rosser had planned a day of shooting with three different models. Unfortunately one canceled and another never showed up. Not Rusty though. He was there, and eventually he was all that was necessary to make the day a success.
The weather that particular day wasn’t at its best, which by itself wasn’t that bad. It only meant there weren’t that many people on the beach which Dylan used to his advantage to shoot this terrific series with Rusty. Rusty isn’t a complete stranger for the lens of a camera. Maybe you haven’t seen him much as a model, there is a fair chance you might have seen him in a complete different media. Rusty has done some adult gay movies in his past which probably explains why he didn’t take long before getting his clothes off. And even though Dylan repeatedly told him ‘hard shots’ weren’t necessary, Rusty proved he wasn’t that rusty at all. The result can be seen on Dylan’s website. –B-

I have loved this beach many years ago. Thanks to let me discover these pics in this such gorgeous and familar place. Dylan Rosser is a great photograph.
