WITH A BACKGROUND IN BUSINESS AND MARKETING, AND A STRONG PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY, IT IS ONLY LOGICAL DRAKE ROCK CAME WITH AN IDEA THAT GAVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMBINE BOTH AND AT THE SALE TIME FILL A GAP IN THE MARKET. LITTLE DID HE KNOW WHERE IT WOULD LEAD HIM.
Being brought up in a VH1 and MTV world Drake Rock, like many of us, realized that music videos often have a sexual load to it that due to the nature of the medium and channel could never be pushed further. Which gave Drake the idea to start producing music videos that are more sensual. In other words, exciting imagery against a backdrop of exciting music. The result was MalePerfection.net, an adult entertainment website containing fast-edited videos underscored with club remixes by some of the industry’s hottest artists and DJs, showing sexy, powerful, sensual and seductive imagery of the most beautiful men, who almost bare it all. The original idea was to target women. Because of this, MalePerfection.net made the conscious decision not to go into the area of pornography and leave somethings to the imagination. The result is a content of artistic, sexy, sensual and tasteful erotic imagery that draws that fine line between typical beefcake and hard core porn. In a recent interview Drake Rock explains his motivation: "I’m an open-minded guy, and I’ve seen my share of porn. At different times over the years all porn started to look the same: undress, five minutes of oral, five minutes taking it in back, sometimes an alternate position, and then the cum shot. It got to the point that I was watching scenes only until they undressed, and then fast-forwarded to the next scene. I was bored with porn. There are only so many ways sex scenes can be filmed – the body only contorts into a finite number of positions. Then it hit me – I like the tease. And you don’t get much of that in porn."
Although created for women in the first place, Drake soon learned a large number of his fan base were gay men, and being the marketing guy he is, he also came to realize that even though men appreciate teasing sensuality, they will get to the point they want to be teased a little bit more. Now you can imagine that while filming the videos available on MalePerfection.net, a lot of footage ends up on the floor because it can not be used in the sites concept. And thus Drake decided to open a second site – Rock Hard Jocks - which could house all this material, and which would give his audience that eventually would like to see a bit more a fair chance in getting exactly that.
