IT ARE THOSE MOMENTS THAT YOU ACTUALLY START TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A PURPOSE, NOTHING IS COINCIDENTAL AND ALL HAS BEEN PREDETERMINED. THE DAY SANDRO MANTOVANI AND MAYKSON RIBET WAS SUCH A MOMENT.

Our story of today starts in Vitória, the capital city of the state of state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, just north of Rio de Janeiro. 5 Years ago, two young guys – Sandro Mantovani and Maykson Ribet – stumbled upon each other while surfing the Internet. They started to chat and eventually met, realizing they had a lot more in common then being gay. Both Sandro and Maykson were born in Brazil, but are of Italian origin. They were born on consecutive days June 24th and 25th, with barely a year difference in age. Both men have great interest in the world of design and creation. Sandro is a graduate in journalism and winner of the Nikon International Photography Contest 2004/05, one of the most recognized worldwide in which he competed against more than thirty thousand entrants from one hundred and seventeen different countries. Maykson is a graduated art designer and pretty much self-taught in everything that has to do with art, TV and cinema. A perfect match and if that wasn’t all, the two young men fell in love are have lived their life together now for 5 years. Still, as similar as they are, there are also some major differences. But maybe that is the key to their success, both personally and professionally.
Three years ago, Sandro and Maykson decided to make a radical change in their life and moved to Europe, where they live partly in London and Milan. Together they are responsible for an impressive portfolio of photographic and graphic work. The difference between Sandro and Maykson is, that when it comes to work, Maykson adopts a classic style whereas Sandro tends to go more into the sport and casual trend. But creative and committed as they are, they have found a balanced work style, which has contributed even more to their union. While creating concepts in accordance to their personal styles, but executing them together, they have found a way of working on projects that enables them to work both directions and it looks like we will be seeing more of this within a very short time, with the publication of their very first photo book.
Predetermination or sheer coincident. We let you be the judge of that. Fact is, whatever it was that brought Sandro Mantovani and Maykson Ribet together, it changed their lives completely, and has brought them love, success and happiness. And that alone is already reason enough to believe in powers stronger then us. –B-

It is so nice to hear stories of happiness rather than what we usually get from mainstream media. This is compounded by the fact that these two men are both exceptionally talented and have produced some incredible work. Bravo.
