IF WE SHOULD BELIEVE THE STORIES, WE REALLY SHOULD THANK THE RADICAL FEMINISTS BACK IN THE 1970’S FOR ALL THE MAN CANDY WE ARE ABLE TO ENJOY THESE DAYS. IT WAS THEM WHO MARCHED AGAINST PORNOGRAPHY AND STRIP CLUBS IN PARTICULAR, WHICH TURNED THE TIDE FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF MEN UNDRESSING THEMSELVES ON STAGE - AT THE RHYTHM OF MORE OR LESS SEDUCTIVE MUSIC - AND IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. PERSONALLY WE DON’T CARE THAT MUCH FOR THE MUSIC PART. IN FACT, IT CAN BE RATHER ANNOYING. THE REAL TEASE IS IN THE STRIPPING.
The art of taking off ones clothes. Not many control it. That is, to do it in a seductive and teasing way. But Chris Campanioni certainly does, as New York City based photographer Frank Louis recently found out. To his – and ours – great satisfaction. Not too long ago, Frank shot Chris stripping to Next 2 Nothing. Which we should take quite literally since the shooting was sponsored by the Next 2 Nothing bodywear brand, also known as N2N. N2N was founded in Los Angeles in the year 1997 by Andrew Makay as a revolutionary swim and underwear brand for the adventurous gay and metro-sexual man. Over the year, N2N has become a brand that truly embraces the male physique and sex appeal, aiming at getting those well proportioned men out of their baggy clothes and into tight fitting bodywear that marries so well with their often smoothly curved body lines. Something that apparently worked quite well with Chris Campanioni.
For many the name Chris Campanioni might not say that much (although we strongly believe that will change after this posting). But if we say Chris Cuba, guarantee many will get that look of recognition in their eyes. For this is the pseudo that Chris uses for his model profile, and which many Internet sites have been using to promote this tasty New York City boy. Chris’ family name already gives away his Latin ethnicity. And even though we first believed it to be Italian, he claims to be Spanish from origin, which is fine by us as well. Toned body (Chris loves to be outdoors) and blond hair, Chris stands 6′ 1″ tall and carries 180 pounds of pure muscle mass. Which definitely makes him a whole lot of eye candy. Chris Campanioni was born 24 years ago in Manhattan and started modeling only two years ago. Needless to say that his sexy and masculine but boyish looks have landed him already some very interesting gigs, including covers for magazines such as Cosmopolitan and French gay lifestyle magazine Tetu, a recurring role in the USA Soap series All My Children and a MAC Cosmetics body painting job, which we would have loved to witness. There is more to Chris than that. He has signed a contract with Silver Models and thanks to his physiques he is a well-sought after underwear and fitness model. It probably won’t come as a surprise if we tell you N2N is not the first tight underwear Chris has proudly displayed in front of the camera.
Our dear friend Frank Louis hardly needs an introduction. Being a man of great talent and vision, he has surprised us on numerous occasions with just as many different series and styles in photography. Artistic and sensuous, as in Room With A View and Dancing In The Dark, intimate and intense, as in Jack Has Stars and Tony & Clint, and erotic and sexual, like Justify My Love and Strangers In Paradise and even Phil Ductan's First Time. And all with his own sense of style and a touch of sexual energy. Besides his fantastic art photography, Frank is also a highly anticipated fashion photographer. We saw it in his work with Luigi Scarcella Perino (Italian Made) and we see it again, today, in his Striptease series with Chris Campanioni. In a simple setting, Chris went from suit to underwear in such natural and casual style that you wish he wouldn’t have stopped there. But the, again, the seeing but not knowing, isn’t that the real tease? –B-
