THE WORLD IS A BIG PLACE SO IT IS ALWAYS AMAZING HOW YOU KEEP BUMPING INTO THE SAME PEOPLE AT CERTAIN TIMES. IT IS ALMOST AS IF OUR PATHS WERE LAID BEFORE US BEFORE WE STARTED WALKING THEM. EVERY NOW AND THEN YOU ARRIVE AT CROSS ROADS WHERE YOU MEET THE SAME PEOPLE.
Simon Howard is one of these people who seems to be traveling the same direction as we do. Sort of. We keep meeting him at certain points and have to admit, we are happy to do so. Although this time we hardly recognized him. Which says more about Simon’s constant wish to make a change and try different things than our ability to see. And than there is another one who seems to be appearing at certain cross points on our journey: Simon Barnes, alias Hotsnapz. Oh yes, it is one of those. An other confusing Simon/Simon story.
In the time since Simon (Howard) first appeared on BeautifulMag, he has grown considerably as a model. He has left his first passion, competition body building, behind and progressed through fitness magazines to become much in demand for a whole range of commercial products. Both in magazines and on the catwalk, where he recently modeled the new season's Ed Hardy Range. He also regularly writes articles on fitness and body building for several magazines, as well as presenting shows for LA Muscle, which now has its own channel on Sky TV in the UK. Needless to say he still keeps his amazing body in that same amazing shape. By eating pizza and other junk food, Simon claims (Howard that is).
But Simon is a dynamic person - hence the fact he actually can get away eating all that junk – and is always on the look for new experiences. This time he decided he wanted to have a new look which would surprise people who know him. As luck would have it, Simon (Hotsnapz that is) had just completed a shoot with model Liz Scott who also happens to be a very talented make-up artist. They took Simon under their skillful hands and created a complete new image for the sexy body builder/model. Kinda Edward Scissorhands meets Vin Diesel with a touch of Brad Pitt thrown in. Enough reason for us to bring Simon once again in the spotlight. And Simon with that. By the way, Hotsnapz is well represented in our anthology book BeautifulVision. Not only is he responsible for the cover, showing the delicious Fabio, he also has a nice section in the book, including Simon Howard. –B-
