FRENCH PHOTOGRAPHER FRED ETAL SHARES HIS VISION OF THE MALE PHYSIQUE WITH HIS UNIQUE PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE IN A NEW EXHIBITION WHXIH CURRENTLY RUNS IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE.

34 Years old Fred Eral lives in the beautiful city of Arles in the south of France. He only picked up the art of photography 5 years ago and has developed such a unique and appealing style that already he has enjoyed the success of 10 different exhibitions. Including his latest: D Corps d’Hommes. Fred is a master in photographing a broad variety of subjects but his big turn around came after meeting Belgian photographer Pascal Baetens. It was this meeting that made Fred focus on the male artistic nude for his exhibitions.

Fred Eral likes to stage his portraits in combinations with various elements, such as nature and architecture. This approach is certainly not the easiest way to shoot nude male models, but Fred is not afraid for the challenge. The exchange with his subjects, not just as models posing for a picture, but as human beings, is a key element in Fred’s approach. It is that element that brings deeper and different feelings to his photo’s.

With D Corps d’Hommes, Fred offers his audience the opportunity to go on a virtual trip, to imaginary navigate through a world of emotions and interpretations presented in a monochromatic way.
