WE ARE QUITE PASSIONATE ABOUT CERTAIN THINGS HERE AT BEAUTIFULMAG. MEN, OF COURSE, IS ONE OF THEM. PHOTOGRAPHY IS ANOTHER. THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO IS AN ABSOLUTE WINNER. AND PERSONALLY I’M ALSO A SUCKER WHEN IT COMES TO FACTS AND NUMBERS. ANY KIND OF HISTORICAL FACTS MAKE MY BLOOD RUN FASTER.

The passion for male photography is something we have in common with many other men. Dylan Rosser being one of them. He started photographing male nudes about 10 years ago. One of the big obstacles at that time was getting his work published. Because beautiful as his work was, there just weren’t that many magazines that would publish male nudity, let alone full frontal. This of course, all happened before BeautifulMag existed. Since 2007 we have posted more than 20 pieces about Dylan Rosser and his work. But before that, Dylan had to fall back on other solutions. He was too new, too unexperienced, for a book publication and so he decided to showcase his work on a website of his own creation. After several incarnations, TheMaleForm.net finally saw the light of day in its most complete form on April 1 2009, holding over 3,000 portraits of all of Dylan’s men.

Now, 10 years, 3 websites and 2 books later, Dylan Rosser has prepared himself for a milestone in his career as male nude photographer. Dylan has shot his 100th model, and celebrates this with a unique photo book, simply entitled 100. From Adam to Zach, all his 100 men are represented in 100. Some with photos we know, others with work that never has been published before. But each single one of them hot and sexy and in that typical style that is so characteristic for Dylan Rosser. And that makes 100 a retrospective of Dylan’s vision on male beauty that is an absolute must for the Rosser-fan or anyone else who is, like us, passionate about men and male photography.

Now you might think: yeah yeah, we already heard about this anniversary book, what else is new, we have only one answer: RICK F. And yes, the caps are intended because Rick F. is #100. So let’s do a few more numbers. Dylan spotted Rick some time ago but it took him 6 months to convince him to pose. The bottleneck was posing full frontal. Rick eventually agreed after some intense persuasion from Dylan’s side and we have to say…. It was worth the wait. Rick was born and raised in Australia in 1978. Which makes him 31 years old. After having spent some time in Canada, he now lives in London since 3 years. Rick F. is pretty laid back, easy to get along with and always ready to try something new. Hence the nudes. We believe Dylan could not have made a better choice. Rick F. is the perfect #100.

100 Is available as a 120 page book in both hard cover (£39.95) and soft cover (£29.95). Featuring on the cover is Rick, who will go in history as Dylan’s number 100. Just received my copy of "100" yesterday. Dylan has out done himself once again. Another excellent book...his second one in less than a year. Dylan had better be careful: he's going to spoil us and we will be expecting a new book from him every year! I noticed some of the models have two photos, such as Edgar, whom I adore and I am very happy Dylan did this. It must have been very difficult for Dylan to select just one photo from his vast archives of these gorgeous guys. But he has made terrific choices and the result is another beautiful, stunning piece of work. My congratulations to Dylan and best wishes for very successful sales, which I'm sure will not be a problem!
