GREAT READ AND THE BEST OF LUCK TO HIM...

"Everything happens for a reason." How true that is. And they also say that whatever doesn't kill you, just makes you stronger. Now that Joe has survived the worst that life can throw at him, he will emerge stronger and better than ever. I wish Joe and Chris the best of luck, and anxiously look forward to all the great work just waiting to be released by this creative duo.

BAM! I am so ecstatic that I inadvertently stumbled head long into your blog today. I am a Texas man living a secluded, solitary existence on 4 beautiful private acres in Wildwood, TX. I have been stuck in a revolv-ing door of TX State Govt. agency positions ever since I stopped making Art (painting & photography) to join the fight against AIDS in the early 80s. I thought that I was done in 2004 when I conceptualized a new life of creativity for myself like a phoenix rising from the ashes with the loving support of my former partner, Mike. 5 days before I was to make the leap into that future, Mike died in my arms from a sudden unexpected massive heart attack. He did not suffer but I sure as hell did. I had to retract my resignation from the agency I was working for at that time. I lost my way to the new creative life I had envisioned for myself. I am presently at another fork in the road. I do not yet know which direction I will take and where it may lead. However, Joe's blog gave me a renewed sense of hope. My pride is restored. My quest for true beauty and an honorable existence of creativity is renewed. Thanks Joe. Know that your life has meaning and purpose beyond that which you could imagine. You are a phenomenal artist and a super role model. Keep up the exquisite work!
