New Blood

WE MEET A LOT OF TALENTED PEOPLE AND WE BELIEVE IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. IF NOT, WE WOULDN’T SHARE THEIR WORK WITH YOU. IT IS A PLEASURE TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH PEOPLE ON A REGULAR BASE, FOLLOW THEIR CAREER AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND BE ABLE TO BUILD A REAL FRIENDSHIP. BUT IS IS ALSO WONDERFUL TO ENCOUNTER NEW TALENT, AND THAT BECOME AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT IF IT IS TALENT WITH THE PROMISE OF MORE.
Robert Charles set his first careful steps on the exciting path of photography 8 years ago, at the early age of 17. He did so by taking a job as photo journalist for a newspaper. But three years ago, he came to the conclusion he wanted to get more out of his passion and decided to focus on male photography in an attempt to capture masculine beauty. He concentrated his efforts on model and fitness photography, and balanced these activities with attending college for about one year. But, almost a if it was meant to be to keep the balance in harmony, after Rob graduated he also stopped photography. He ended up taking a 2 year hiatus from his passion until he recently picked up his camera again, pursuing his previously chosen journey into fashion and artistic male photography.
Shawn Stingel has been making name for himself as a male model in rapid time. Having been able to work with a variety of renowned photographers, that have resulted in just as many publications, Shawn has become a known face in the industry. Which by itself has driven him to explore new ventures. Blogging for example. Since the beginning of this year, Shawn as opened his own blog, Hewolf, which he uses as an outlet to share his experiences in the modeling business. He does this within detail, which isn’t just interesting for other aspiring talent, but also a real pleasure to read. Because besides looking great, Shawn also has a way with words.
When Robert Charles decided to once again pick up his camera, he could not have asked for a better subject than Shawn Stingel. The two young gentlemen met about a year ago through a mutual friend and, obviously as a result of having many things in common, became good friends themselves which eventually resulted in this cooperation. Looking back, Robert comments: "Shawn is one of the best models I have ever worked with. He brings with him an energy and enthusiasm that is unmatched among the other models I have shot. We had great chemistry during our shoot, and I think the images really reflect that."

Shawn and Rob spent a weekend together in order to create a great portfolio of photographs. They did shots that vary from fully-clothed portraits to artistic nudes. This series is a perfect blend of both of those. Robert continues: "Shawn and I collaborated and came up with the wardrobe for this series together and he really rocked it out!" With Shawn Stingel as his muse, Robert Charles has re-embarked on his journey in photography. And we couldn’t be more happy with that. It is always nice to have new blood. –B-
