WE HAVE HAD THE HONOR TO SEE ERIC RENSBURG ON BEAUTIFULMAG ON AN EARLIER OCCASION. BUT, IMPRESSIVE AS ERIC IS, THAT PROBABLY WAS A MOMENT LOST TO MOST OF US. BECAUSE ALL WE COULD SEE WAS THE BACK OF ERIC’S HEAD. SO THIS TIME WE DECIDED TO SHOW A BIT MORE. IN FACT, WE DECIDED TO SHOW PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING.
Even though his name would suggest otherwise, Eric Rensburg is not Dutch. Eric is of Chinese descent but based in London. All together a nice mix. What is also a nice mix are his activities. A healthcare professional, Eric has a business background. But he also works on part time base as singer and performer. On top of all that he still finds some time to model. A busy man, this Eric Rensburg. And it should be no surprise that he lives by the self imposed concept that you only reach your highest potential if you strive to life your live to the fullest.
Striving to reach his highest potential. About 18 months ago, Eric Rensburg decided to take that leading thought more seriously by getting himself into shape. He lost 40 pounds and gained a career as male model. Over the past 6 months Eric has had the chance to work with a number of renowned photographers and that is how we first came to see him. In a portrait Aurelio Mong took from Ville Kinos, where Ville was posing as a ‘bottom cushion’ and Eric was aiming his ‘bank shot.’ Eric plans to continue in these endeavors – modeling that is, not snooker – and he is working towards getting into even better shape, always striving for improvement. Which most likely means that the best is yet to come.
Having that said, we are already quite impressed by the series Chris Teel shot of Eric Rensburg. When Eric was visiting Toronto and NYC for a short vacation, both gentlemen had the chance to spend a day in each others company and shot on three different locations. The photos of today are a selection of one of these sessions. Chris Teel had his eye on a Toronto nightclub – The Barn – for some time already and took this opportunity to realize a concept he had been brooding on for a while already. A vision that was a bit raunchy and sleazy and incredibly sexy. And somehow Eric was a perfect fit, being able to place him in the character Chris was looking for. So if there still is better to come from Eric Rensburg, we can’t wait what that would be. We think his work with Chris Teel is already pretty much in the upper level. –BM-

I had the opportunity to work with Eric back in October when he was visiting the DC area and I can only say that as impressive and beautiful as he is in these amazing images by the equally amazing Chris Teel, there is still something grander by being in his presence. His beauty shines from the inside out. The perfect model, the perfect gentleman.

Eric and Chris, congratulations on some wonderful photographs! The color tones really gave this shoot a different quality. Eric's wonderful skin colour and the lighting that Chris utilized made for some great moments. It also helps that Chris can capture Eric's buff and toned body. Thanks for providing the very artistic photos!

I, too, have had the privilege of shooting with Eric. He is not only one of the most beautiful models I've worked with, he is also intelligent, kind, funny and fun-loving. Put simply, he is one in a million.
