Put Some Chase in Your Face

SOCIAL NETWORKING. BLOGGING. WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT IT. DIGITAL PLATFORMS OFFER THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE PRETTY MUCH WHATEVER THEY WANT WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD. THE DOWNSIDE FROM FREE PUBLICITY IS THAT EVERYTHING IS OUT THERE, UNAVOIDABLE, IN YOUR FACE. BUT THE GOOD THING IS THAT SOMETIMES YOU COME UPON BLOGS YOU WANT TO HAVE IN YOUR FACE. SUCH AS THE BLOG OF CHASE HOSTLER.

Chase Hostler is a go-go dancer in the popular gay dance club Mr. Black at Broadway and Bleecker, and a well-known personality in the New York gay scene. Not in the least thanks to his signature slice hairstyle. Yes, Chase Hostler is definitely a man who knows how to promote himself and stand out from the crowd. Sure his well defined physique helps, but what is most striking about Chase is that look in his eyes that makes you wonder whether he is going to beat you up or rip off your clothes.

On his self-explaining blog Put Some Chase In Your Face, Chase presents himself as "a little boy in the big city" but believe us if we tell you there is nothing little about Chase. The 24 years old New Yorker might be rather small, his well developed muscled body and bold, outspoken personality more than make up for that. On his blog Chase presents us the best of the best, and boldly decided that most of the time that includes himself. Or, as he claims himself grinning, "narcissism at its finest".

Knowing very well the importance of publicity if you want to stand out, Chase had his mind set upon working with Rick Day. But since the famous New York photographer is a busy man, it wasn’t so easy for Chase to nail him down. So after chasing him for a while Chase finally gave up. Only to find out that Rick himself was more than interested in photographing him after he saw the story we ran about Chase with the work of Thomas Synnamon. Rick and Chase got together and decided to shoot a set for Rick’s second photo book Pioneers, and a personal set for Chase in addition. He recalls: "We really had a great time shooting and found out that we had more than a few friends and even coworkers in common, and I think the results of the shoot show how well we connected. It's actually the first shoot that I've ever done nude, but the nudes are going to exclusively be for the books and calendars."

Chase Hostler has discovered the joy of modeling and does it with enthusiasm and motivation. No wonder he rapidly has become one of the favorites in the New York photography scene and beyond. Keep your eyes open because Chase Hostler will come to us through different kinds of media as well this year. One of them being a cartoon. If you are living in New York, definitely check him out in one of the more popular gay clubs where he might be entertaining.
