SUPERMAN WAS BROUGHT TO US FIRST AS A CARTOON CHARACTER BACK IN 1932. THE FIRST INDICATION THAT SUPERMAN WAS AN ACTUAL HUMAN-LIKE BEING CAME IN 1978, WHEN HE WAS BROUGHT TO LIFE IN MOVIE. WITH SUCH AN OBSESSION FOR THE HERO FROM THE PLANET KRYPTON, ONCE COULD WONDER, IS THERE A SENSE OF TRUTH IN HIS STORY. WE BELIEVE THERE IS. AND WE BELIEVE SUPERMAN LIVES IN NEW YORK CITY.

Over the years we have come to known Thomas Synnamon as a photographer with extra ordinary talent. Self taught he is and that alone makes him a photographer of exceptional quality already. Add to that the fact that Tom is only shooting for about 5 years now and has evolved in his work from good to great, and you might wonder if there are some super powers at work here.

Not only is Thomas Synnamon a fantastic photographer, he also has a cunning talent where it comes to picking models. With an exception here and there, Thomas has shot many unknown men who after their collaboration often found more modeling work with other artists and agencies. And now he has found another one, who claims to be John Shan. But we know better. We believe John Shawn to be the real human identity of Superman.

Are we crazy? Maybe and maybe not. Think about it. Superman has a secret identity, which is Clark Kent. Not so secret actually since everybody knows about it. So couldn’t that be a hoax. And looking at John Shan, don’t you think there is something similar to the way he and the last son of Krypton look? There is something in the way they wear their hair. And what about his muscles? Without doubt there is a Man of Steel hiding in there. But if we are right, than how could we explain the fact he started modeling for Thomas Synnamon recently. Well, we thought about that as well. We believe that Thomas probably stumbled upon John just at the moment he was changing himself in his blue spandex. If so, I think we can all agree on the fact we like John much more in his undies without the characteristic indestructible costume. The other reason could be that John Shan simply decided to try a modeling career. If so we just have to believe that even superheroes like to show of their muscled physics in front of a camera every now and than. It doesn’t really matter. What does matter is that Superman is alive, and it comforts us that we only need to cry Help to be carried off in his powerful arms. –BM-
