THIS IS THE STORY OF A YOUNG MAN IN SEARCH OF A DREAM. A YOUNG FELLOW WHO WENT ON A JOURNEY THAT BROUGHT HIM TO ANOTHER COUNTRY AND BACK, ANOTHER CITY FULL OF PROMISE AND ADVENTURE HE WAS EAGER TO TASTE. ALL IN ORDER TO FIND HIS ULTIMATE GOAL AND FIND HIS HAPPILY EVER AFTER. THIS STORY IS JUST ONE MOMENT OF THIS VOYAGE, BUT ONE THAT COULD HAVE FAR STRETCHING EFFECT. BUT LET US START AT THE BEGINNING.
Once upon a time there was a boy who was born in Cheney, a small city in Spokane County, Washington. While growing up, this boy, his name is Michael, moved to a neighboring country named Canada, but eventually his journeys lead him back to his country of origin and currently he resides in Seattle. But the story we have to tell takes place in a different city, on a different coast and at a different time. We take a small step back to last summer. Place of happening is the marvelous city of New York, where many venture in expectations of dreams to come true.
Standing 6’2” tall (approximately 1.88m) blue eyed and with his short cropped light brown hair taking a reddish blond tint under the summer sun, Michael Olson is a real head turner. At 21 years Michael has an innocent charm that comes natural to him. Seemingly unaware of the effect he has on people he strides through live, leaving unintended impressions wherever he goes. Young as he is, Michael is searching for adventure and meaning, and this quest brought him eventually to New York City last summer, where he stayed for a few months. Now Michael isn’t the kind of guy who is completely unaware of what life has to offer, and aware of his youth and physical appearance, he carefully tried to find work in the modeling industry. Which rapidly resulted in signing a contract with international modeling agency Q Management. Since Q Management has an agency in New York, it only seemed logical Michael O. combined pleasure with business and happily showed up for a casting call in Lower Manhattan. And this is where photographer Aaron Cobbett spotted him.
Always on the outlook for new talent, Aaron Cobbett ventured to Q Management on Broadway one sunny summer morning last summer, totally unaware of the change this morning would bring him. He took place and prepared himself for a line of young male models to choose from. He was not prepared to find someone like Michael Olson. “Michael immediately caught my attention with his laid-back sexiness and I booked him on the spot,” Aaron recalls. “Friendly, confident and relaxed, he clearly enjoys showing off his sculpted physique on and off camera.” And so it came to happen that one afternoon Michael Olson joined Aaron Cobbett in his New York City photo studio and shot a series of photos that might very well become a set of classics in the launch of an international modeling career for this dark blond sexy male model. Michael loves wearing tight t-shirts, high tops and skinny jeans and sports the look like no other. When it comes to modeling, he isn’t shy to use his sculpted body showing off underwear and swimwear pieces. In fact, it is what he loves most. Needless to say that one afternoon in New York City was a stormy adventure for Michael he is not likely to forget easily. Neither will Aaron.
Michael Olson is now back in Seattle, cherishing fond memories of his time in New York. “New York was a bit overwhelming, it was intense,” he remembers. “The shoot with Aaron Cobbett was my favorite shoot from my time in the city. I like doing sexy, edgy photo shoots.” Michael O. has no plans to return to New York any time soon. But one can hope and we are sure that if he does, many would welcome him back with open arms. –BM-
