MANY PEOPLE FOLLOW ETHICAL APPROACHES THAT ARE CALLED DEONTOLOGICAL. IT IS A WAY OF THINKING BASED ON THE IDEA WE HAVE THE DUTY TO DO AND DO NOT CERTAIN THINGS. IT IS A VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD WAY OF THINKING THAT INVOLVES A STRONG SENSE OF RIGHT AND GOOD, WHERE RIGHT HAS TO DO WITH ACTIONS AND GOOD WITH OUTCOME. IT SEEMS RESTRICTED BUT THE REALITY IS THE DEONTOLOGISTS HAVE VERY LITTLE RULES AND HAVE THEREFORE A FAIR AMOUNT OF FREEDOM. SOME MIGHT SAY IT IS A SIMPLISTIC WAY OF THINKING BUT IN FACT IT IS JUST A LOGICAL WAY OF LOOKING AT THINGS.

Moises was born and raised in a small village in Mexico, where most people made their way through life by farming cattle. Raised in a righteous way, Moises always loved the outside life he was living as a child, surrounded by animals. Horses are by far his favorite and he would spend hours riding though the fields. After attending local college, Moises eventually moved to Mexico City to live a more independent life with other prospects, but he is still a cowboy. According to Moises himself, this will never change.

Some months ago, Picsessions photographer German Armenta stumbled upon a picture of Moises on a social networking site and decided to contact him. German proposed a photoshoot and even though Moises had never considered – let alone done – anything of that kind of work, he was intrigued and after seeing German’s earlier work he agreed. Moises is a deontologist and convinced accepting German’s invitation was the right thing to do, he had no doubt the outcome would be good. Encouraged by what he learned about German Armenta’s work, Moises felt comfortable and motivated to go all the way: “the experience was incredible. German is a great guy, very polite and professional and with a very friendly vibe. I felt really comfortable and confident. I thought it would be really difficult, but German helped me a lot and turned it into an exciting adventure. He made me feel I was ready to do it and it is something I will definitely like to do again.”

While working on the set, German Armenta also took the time to get to know Moises a bit better, and specially for BeautifulMag he asked him some very specific questions:
German: Moises, in your way of thinking, can you tell us your definition of love and sex?
Moises: Love is all. It is what makes the world, people and the universe move. It is what makes me feel alive every morning when I wake up. It is something you want to share when you have it, and what makes you see the world around you differently. Sex is a form of love but more physical. It is the energy of love. The more you express it, the more you feel it. Sex is best with the one you love, because in that scenario there are no limitations and it is simply amazing. It is the great experience of enjoying each other.

German: What do you wear when you are in bed?
Moises: (laughing) I usually sleep naked but when I feel extra sexy I wear boxers ☺

German: What do you normally do Moises? How do you spend your time?
Moises: I have a job that I love and enjoy doing very much. In my spare time I like exercising but also practice meditation and yoga. It is a part of me. It is what defines me and makes me a stable partner. Asides from that, I like going to the movies, hanging out with friends and yeah, I do like to party as well ☺ But I really am a very balanced person. I don’t mind staying home alone, reading a book for hours or staying up late listening music.

German: What is it that makes you feel extra special?
Moises: Even though I live my life the way I feel I should I respect other people’s choices. I am not a hard feelings kind of guy. I just try to be me, simple as it is. I know who I am, where I go what I want and do not want. I am in no hurry. Life always gives me what I need and I am always where I must be. What makes me feel special? I am happy to be who I am and with what I have. I am grateful to life because it gives me what I need. Every day. –BM-
