WHAT A PIECE OF WORK IS A MAN, HOW NOBLE IN REASON, HOW INFINITE IN FACULTIES, IN FORM AND MOVING HOW EXPRESS AND ADMIRABLE. IN ACTION HOW LIKE AN ANGEL! IN APPREHENSION HOW LIKE A GOD, THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD, THE PARAGON OF ANIMALS. – SHAKESPEARE, HAMLET, PRINCE OF DENMARK, ACT II, SCENE 2.

The man known as Bacchus Stuart is an actor, director and producer. For three years he has worked for Broadway director Joe Layton. He has also directed plays all over his city Los Angeles and the around country. His work as production coordinator, production assistant and art director have brought him beyond theatre into the world of TV and film. He worked on three films with the late Dennis Hopper. He has done radio plays and directed and edited web videos. You name it. Bacchus Stuart has touched pretty much everything that has to do with theatre, film, TV and radio and left his mark.
 
The man known as Bacchus Stuart is also a gifted photographer. And with a theatrical background as he has, it is probably no surprise he love photographing the human figure. For Bacchus it doesn’t matter whether the model is staged or in more natural surroundings. He simply likes to employ his abilities as a theatre and film director to relax his subject, make them feel safe and dare to try anything. The combination of photography and film is not so unusual for Bacchus. He was taught the secrets of analog photography from his uncle when he was only 10 years old. He learned how to process and develop, shade and alter. That same uncle taught him also the techniques of stop-motion photography and with an old Bell & Howell 8mm camera Bacchus started to make small animations movies, starring himself in the most bizarre situations.

Over the years Bacchus Stuart has photographed many artists he has worked with in theatre, film and TV. But when he met Quinn Christopher Jaxon about over a year ago, this slightly changed. Quinn is only 22 years old but carries a wealth of experience with him. He calls himself a dancer and a model, but that only begins summing up the activities he has engaged in. He does make up and body paint, and his own stunts in photography and film. When it comes to photography Quinn can be booked for any kind you can think of, varying from fitness to fashion, lifestyle to erotic and nude. If anything, we would call Quinn a performance artist.

Bacchus Stuart was one of the first to work with Quinn which not only lead to a close friendship, but also to a work relation that goes further than photographer and model. Bacchus became Quinn’s manager and has landed him several interesting jobs. Which eventually lead to Quinn becoming a well sough after model and Bacchus becoming a manager with several other models in his folio. Having creative people around him is what inspires Bacchus. When seeing Quinn doing some stretching exercises in the gym, his theatre mind immediately was awakened. Inspired by Quinn’s agility and Shakespeare’s Hamlet, he placed him in front of the camera with only a ladder and a chair to play with. The result is an absolutely stunning and intimate series featuring Quinn Christopher Jaxon in the most daring positions that give life to Shakespeare’s famous quote "In form and moving, how express and admirable!" –BM-
