Do I spot a little smile of recognition on your face? I bet I do. I bet you all thought about this sometimes. What it would be like to look through the camera and focus on a gorgeous guy, naked and full frontal, in several stages of excitement. Isn’t that the most beautiful job ever?

Dutch Malemodel.nl photographer Gert Kist is known for his impeccable choice in male models. And for one reason or the other, he is able to get his guys to pose naked for him. And not only that, more often than not, they go all the way. Posing in their most vulnerable and sensual positions. Fully erected. Erotic and sexual. The fact that a good part of his models are straight boys makes it even more exceptional. How does he do it? What is his secret?

Well for starts we can tell you we have come to know Gert Kist as a most integer artist. Sure, there are always rumors about photographers who can’t keep their hands to themselves, but Gert most certainly isn’t one of them. On the contrary. Gert Kist knows what he wants from his models and he also knows what it takes to get them to that stage. “Trust is the most important ingredient,” Gert explains. “I want my models that they give themselves completely in the shoot. Therefore it is very important that there is a good atmosphere so models really can feel relaxed. If they are not, you will immediately see that on a picture.”

When Gert Kist starts his sessions, he always kicks off with nudes. “I always start asking them to go completely naked. When a model has to show his body, a certain tension will emerges. Some guys get really excited when they have to show there body. A real good model has to be a little exhibitionistic.” Most of the time Gert asks his men to apply baby oil on their bare skin. It works like a mirror on their bodies and makes them look really good on film. “Oil is essential to get a good shiny effect. But it also gives a very erotic sensation to the skin. Even straight guys feel sexual tension when they have to show their body all oiled up.”

After the first naked sessions, Gert Kist moves to the more dressed situations. He asks his models to wear different kinds of underwear. The interesting part is that most of the times his men are so warmed up that the underwear is a catalyst for even more nudes right after, and often the trigger to get the most exciting and erect shots of the shoot. Gert Kist found a ritual in his work and it seems to be working well for him. But no matter what, Gert is still the one to do the work, and work it is.
