LEGEND HAS IT THAT IN THE TOMB OF KING TUTANKHAMEN A JACOB’S LADDER WAS FOUND. BESIDES THE FACT IT SEEMS STRANGE TO FIND A TOY AMONG THE ASTRONOMIC WEALTH OF THE TREASURY THAT ACCOMPANIED THE KING IN HIS GRAVE, IT WAS ALSO A REVELATION. WHO COULD HAVE IMAGINED THAT THE JACOB’S LADDER AS A TOY WENT BACK SO FAR IN HISTORY.

The Jacob’s Ladder is one of the most ancient and famous of folk toys. It is named for the biblical Jacob, who, in a dream, saw a ladder rising from earth to heaven. Like its spinning top, the Jacob’s Ladder seems to be universal, appearing at widely divergent world location with no apparent historical connectedness. And so it has come to happen that many generations in just as many places on our earth, have played the Jacob’s Ladder and carried the knowledge of the tricks with them while growing up.

We are not telling you anything new if we say Justin Monroe is an artist with a very lively fantasy. And so, when mixing tow of his favorite subjects – boys and toys – Justin had his own dream of the Jacob’s Ladder. One that most likely won’t go down in biblical history. All you need to play Jacob’s Ladder is a couple of strings. Pretty innocent for most of us. Not so for Justin. When Justin got models Vincent Vanguard and Nick Sterling in his studio, he decided to transform them into his own, real life version of Jacob’s Ladder.

Like the child’s game one winds and twists a piece of string, lacing from finger to finger creating interesting patterns. Sometimes successful. Sometimes not so much. Justin Monroe created his own game with the same ingredients. But instead of winding the strings around his –fingers, he used a rope that he wound around Vincent and Nick. It all started out as an innocent game, but as usual with these simple tricks, when things get more complicated, frustration rises. And so, during the shoot the boys began to get a bit aggressive. And the more they struggled, the tighter the ropes got. And the boys’ already amazing bodies began to bulge even more, plumping out in all the right places. Now this is a version of Jacob’s Ladder no one will be able to resist to play. –BM-

Nick Sterling has such a perfect butt, I would like to whisk him off to a deserted island somewhere with all the comforts of home, save for any outbound communication devices, and visit him anytime I wanted for a little wink-wink, nudge-nudge.
