OKAY, I’M JUST GONNA SAY IT HERE. WE MEN WHO ARE ATTRACTED TO MEN HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON. WHENEVER YOU SEE A GUY THAT FOR SOME REASON OR THE OTHER DRAWS YOUR ATTENTION, YOU CAN’T HELP PEEKING AT THE FRONT AND BACK OF HIS PANTS, WONDERING WHAT HE MIGHT BE HIDING THERE. COME ON, ADMIT IT. I KNOW YOU DO. IT SIMPLY ISN’T SOMETHING YOU CAN CONTROL. BUT NO MATER HOW HARD YOUR STARE IS, YOU CAN NEVER REALLY KNOW WHAT SURPRISE SITS UNDER THOSE LAYERS OF FABRIC.

Detroit is known, among other things of course, to be first home to the famous Motown Record company. Motown, founded by Berry Gordy Jr, was named after that other thing Detroit is famous for. The motor-industry. We however can name a third reason to keep Detroit on the map. Murray! Murray! (no that ! is no error, but more about that later) is a photographer who originates from Toronto, Canada, which obviously has nothing to do with Detroit, if it wasn’t for the fact Murray! Got himself a job as Creative Director with one of the largest automotive companies. Which is very interesting, but for us not as interesting as what Murray! does after his days are finished.

Asides from his job in the creative sector, Murray! has one other passion. All his spare time is dedicated to the photography of the most incredible samples of men. His devotion to the arts has already resulted in two well-selling calendars and participation to one of Bruno Gmünder’s anthology books: Cock Tales. And doubtless more publications will follow. And that is not so strange considering Murray! has a fine nose – and eye – for selection the finest male models out there. In fact Murray! is probably the only person on Earth with an x-ray vision since it seems that he is perfectly capable of actually seeing what his potential models are hiding inside their trousers. The result, obviously, is a rich portfolio of portraits of men that are not only incredibly handsome and sexy and well built, they are also all very gifted in the lower regions. No exception. Now that, gentlemen, probably explains the ! behind Murray!’s name. His impeccable sense of selecting the best of the best most certainly deserves to be called out.

Like many other photographers, Murray! too has mastered the skills of Photoshop, but it needs to be said, he uses it with moderation. That ability to control the magic tricks that can be done on the computer mixed with his ability to capture his men with a homage that is a dedication to their masculinity. His photos radiate a strength in virility that creates an almost physical sensation looking at his art. There is confidence and potency in every photograph that comes from Murray!’s hands which stands guarantee for a powerful portfolio that is energizing, arousing and delicious.
