Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Jordan Millar was born a soldiers son. Growing up in a military family he got exposed to sports at very young age, learning the importance of a healthy and fit body and top condition. In his early teens Jordan played a large variety of team sports, soccer, hockey and wrestling being some of his favorites.
In the beginning of his twenties, Jordan Millar learned adulthood came with more responsibilities and career oriented choices reduced the time he had for his favorite past times: team sports. ZAs a result he started to focus on a strict workout regimen that allowed him to maintain a high level of strength. And obviously a very athletic appearance. Currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jordan now spends about 4 to 5 times a week in the gym. Plus he has discovered the excitement of snowboarding. All this not only due to his sportive upbringing though. Living in San Francisco has also exposed Jordan to the delightful various and international cuisine the city has to offer and indulging in the pleasures of food does not go unpunished. But let’s face it, Jordan has nothing to worry about.
Jordan Millar is recently new in the modelling world but has experienced his first professional shootings already and enjoys it a lot. One of the lucky photographers who had the chance to work with the 29 years old athletic Jordan is AJ Powell. AJ is a professional photographer who has seen some of his work published in the seasonal editions of Swagga Digital Magazine (SDM). The ones familiar with the mag and AJ’s style will certainly remember him from the winter 2011 and spring 2012 editions. Equally exciting is his current project together with an award-winning gay fiction author to produce a series of book covers for upcoming novels. Keep your eyes out for that. As said, AJ Powell is one of those professional photographers who had the opportunity to discover the talents of Jordan Millar, and the result is stunning. Not only look Jordan at his best, AJ also gave his work a most contemporary look with the wet effect and blue coloring. Definitely 2 artists we should keep our eyes on. –BM-
