Believe it or not but this perfect example of male sexiness and physical perfection is only 22 years old. Peter Picciano. Originally from Wellington in South Florida, Peter has since moved up north and settled in Manhattan. Now for most that would be enough. Not for Peter though. Earlier this summer he decided to have a go at winning the annual Queer of the Year title, an event that took place exactly 533 km more north, in Montreal.
Peter Picciano is a pretty committed guy when it comes to making it big in the industry. During the day he fills his hours with photo shoots and casting calls and whenever he passes a gym in between he hops inside for a quick work out routine. At night he works at Splash, one of New York’s gay hotspots, where he works both behind and on the bar. Yes, Peter has his mind set upon a life in the spotlight and takes every opportunity to make it happen. That’s the spirit Peter.
This summer Peter Picciano has truly showed his dedication in achieving his objectives. Good spirited he plunged into the Queer of the year 2012 election campaign. Full of energy he has participated to every event, broadcasting and parade walk he possibly could, proving that he and only he deserves to win the apparently so wanted title. When asked why he should be Queer of the Year he gave as reasons that he is an unique individual with a high level of motivation and dedication. Apparently New York photographer Thomas Synnamon thought otherwise. He decided to show us some more reasons why Peter Picciano should be crowned.
The skyline of New York is breathtaking by itself already, but Thomas Synnamon has found a way to adds his own landmarks to this most famous silhouette of skyscrapers. We already saw this with Yazi Gomez who he so strategically placed against the backdrop of Manhattans urban landscape. And he does it again with Peter Picciano. The funny thing is that both men come from Florida. One might wonder what Florida has to offer that makes New York’s skyline so much more interesting. Now where Thomas took Yazi in a downtown boutique hotel, Peter Picciano made himself comfortable on one of New York’s many – often hidden – roof terraces. I dare to say that there is probably nothing more amazing then a clear view on the Empire State Building, but Thomas Synnamon proofs me wrong there. Because even though this world famous building tower high above Peter, it is him who outshines the skyscraper from every angle. Queer of the Year or not, Peter Picciano clearly stands on the top of the world. –BM-

I agree. Nice venue, but too many distracting clothes on the model.
