Paul Boulon is only 26 years old but has accomplished things in his life others can only dream of ever doing. Paul has been studying dance since 3rd grade. Originally from Houston, Texas, Paul entered the world of modeling when he was 18 years old. The combination of his dance skills and his experience in front of the camera eventually led to dancing in cruise ship shows and brought him to Las Vegas where he starred in the Bally’s Jubilee show and the legendary Donny and Marie Osmond show where he also, from time to time, showed some vocal talent.
But all that seemed to have been only a preparation for what Paul Boulon was really destined to do. Which is photography. Paul isn’t the first to enter the world of photography through different creative corners. And once again we can see how those different experiences and talents color his work with the camera. Dance obviously has given Paul a great eye and sense for composition and movement. And the fact he has been so active in modeling himself, also makes him very sensitive for what it feels like to stand in front of a camera. Indeed Paul has extensive experience when it comes to modeling, having worked with some of the bigger names in today’s male modeling industry such as Dylan Rosser, Rick Day, Eric Scot, Ev Dylan and Justin Monroe. Paul has worked hard and gained success, and that wave finally brought him to the Promised Land named Los Angeles.
About 3 years ago Paul Boulon started experimenting with a photo camera himself, and once again, not without success. Having studied and practiced dance for so long, and knowing how hard that profession is, Paul knows as no other that success doesn’t come just by itself. It takes hard work and dedication and that is exactly what he puts in his photography career now as well. That and a healthy dose of dreams: “I have a lot more to learn about photography but I am wanting to think big. I'd love to be an in-house photographer for a big time magazine, or be freelance and either have a profitable studio for headshots and portfolio reasons or even land big deals with celebrities for promo work or fragrance ads.”
Paul Boulon’s first feature on BeautifulMag partnered him with Brandon Robert Brown. Now if you think Brandon looks familiar, you might very well be right. Brandon is one of those sexy men who was selected by Andrew Christian to be part of his gang of jock strap cowboys and his pretty face and hot body has been one of the most characteristics in the add campaigns and accompanying videos ever since. Seems to me Paul Boulon truly has arrived in the Promised Land. –BM-
