AND WHERE A GENTLEMAN TRIES TO BREAK THE MOLD, A MAN IS COMFORTABLE FITTING IN. THOUGH THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A MAN AND GENTLEMAN MIGHT SEEMS SUBTLE, THERE ARE MANY. AND WHAT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO IS THAT A MAN TAKES THE NECESSARY AMOUNT OF STEPS, BUT A GENTLEMAN ALWAYS TAKES THAT ONE STEP EXTRA.

It takes courage to be a gentleman. It’s easy to not make the effort, to not make the statements, to not stick out your neck and be noticed. But it won’t get you anywhere. Jared Goodloe know this as no other. Only in his early twenties but already on his way to become a true gentleman. In his behavior, in his thinking and in the way he presents himself. Where other have stopped, Jared goes further. An emerging man on his way to become something better.

Often the things that happen to us when we are still small influence for a great deal the way we grow up and develop ourselves. This can be both in a negative and positive way. The first day Jared went to middle school he was being teased at. Simply because he had a large gap between his teeth. Jared grew up to be very shy. Now this could have been part of his personality, but being teased at certainly didn’t help him. And even now, Jared still has that moment of scare just before entering the runway or before going to casting. However, he also had the strength to consciously seek out situations and activities that forced him to interact with people.

Jared Goodloe started modeling by simply subscribing himself to Model Mayhem and going to small castings in his hometown Indianapolis. He met photographer Seth London through Facebook and together they decided on a collaboration. For Jared one of the best so far: “Seth is easy to work with. He is great in coaching and knows what he wants to get out of the shoot. I feel I was bale to see my growth as a model with him and I took more risk on set.” Through his preference goes to editorial modeling, Jared takes every opportunity that can help him grow and become better at what he does. With the ultimate goal of working overseas with international photographers and brands. Open minded as he is, he does not shy away from nude photography either. “I feel nudes are something that cannot be avoided being a model. It is important to love your body, not matter if it’s covers with clothes or completely naked. Shooting nudes teaches you your best angles and helps you to have more range on set.”

Jared Goodloe is very conscious about his own appearance. When it comes to fashion and trends he likes to recreate someone else’s dream. He loves playing with a large selection of styles and garments and adapting himself to various images. He went even so far that he created his own blog showcasing his different styles. For this and for his work as a model he follows closely what his role models are doing: “I always look at my role models in the industry for inspiration. I stay on top of their most recent shoots and tell myself, "If they can do it, so can I.” I also draw inspiration from when I was teased as a child. It's like I'm always trying to prove the world wrong and show them I can do it.” Clearly Jared Goodloe overcame his fears and shyness.
