It would seem that 22-years old Aaron Gill has spent a lifetime in front of the camera. That is how professional and relaxed his images are. But nothing could be further from the truth. His work with Nige Rorbach is not his first photo gig, but Aaron is still pretty new with only 6 months of modeling under his belt. Certainly not a veteran though he could have fooled us. There is a reason for that though.
Aaron Gill lives in Didsbury, Manchester, UK, where he was born and brought up. As many kids from his generation, Aaron is a fanatic gym rat and has earned his papers to act as a fully qualified gym instructor. But that isn’t what Aaron wants from life. No, Aaron has his young mind set upon an acting career and is waiting for his television breakthrough opportunity (any TV boss out there, don’t hesitate…). Until then he keeps working on perfecting his already perfect body and to draw as much attention to himself as he possible can. And there is no problem with that if your goal is to build a career in the public eye.
Raised by his mother with four sisters, Aaron claims that he used to be a bit of a bad boy when he was growing up, but eventually became more mature. We can draw two conclusions from that and I am sure you’ll all agree. He matured really nicely in every sense but oh what a shame we did not meet Aaron when he was still in his wild years (sigh). Nige Rorbach probably thought the same thing and so it is no wonder that when he had the chance to pick a model from the folio of a befriended photographer, he chose Aaron: “I felt like he was a perfect example of what a modern day Adonis would look like, with his masculine good looks and muscular and toned physique. He also had a great air of confidence, and strength.” Feeling a bit missed out to not have been able to shoot Aaron for his last book, Nige decided to still use some of the concepts he used for that publication for this first collaboration with Aaron Gill. “I decided to work with the ideas of strength, sensuality and the Adonis concepts. I also kept in mind the work of Herb Ritts, who always worked with such beautiful male models, that all looked like they should be immortalized as statues.”
Aaron Gill currently works his way through acting school and earns some money on the side by working as a waiter. For that gig he makes good use of his flawless top body which was also the reason he landed his first photo shoot back in August 2012. He signed a contract with Nemesis Modeling Agency less than a month later and has been standing in front of camera’s ever since. And that he is a fast learner proofs his work with Nige Rorbach. “When Aaron arrived on set he was friendly and well prepared for the shoot. I have to say that considering we had only spoken the day before, the rapport between us was there pretty much straight away, and we got some really stunning shots as soon as Arron stepped in front of the camera. He has a very natural ability, and he works so hard to get his physique looking so good. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better first shoot with a model, and we've already worked together since these shots were taken and are planning more collaborations.” –BM-
