FROM THE FIRST MOMENT MEN LEARNED HOW TO TAME ANIMALS AND USE THEM FOR THEIR CONVENIENCE, THE WORLD STARTED TO BECOME A SMALLER PLACE. WE LEARNED HOW TO USE HORSES AND OXEN FOR PERSONAL TRANSPORT. LATER BOATS AND OF COURSE THE INVENTION OF THE AUTOMOBILE MADE DISTANCES EVEN SMALLER. EVENTUALLY WHEN WE FINALLY MASTERED THE SKILL OF FLYING, WE COULD GO EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD IN A MATTER OF HOURS. AND FINALLY THE INTERNET MADE DISTANCE SO SMALL, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR HOUSE ANYMORE. BUT AS EASY AS THINGS HAVE BECOME, IT HAS MADE THE WORLD SOMETIMES ALSO A MORE SCARY PLACE.
Dylan Rosser was born and raised in South Africa but has since long changed his country of birth for the United Kingdom. Here in London he built his glorious career as one of the worlds most renowned photographer of the male form. But he did not only do it in London. Dylan travelled to many destination searching for new male beauty and exciting settings. Already we have enjoyed his series shot in New York and Dylan also spent so much time in Los Angeles that at one point in his life he even considered moving there. Yes, with out modern ways of traveling and the ability to work digital over the World Wide Web, it really doesn’t matter anymore where you live. Distances have reduced to almost nothing.
Life had different path planned for Dylan Rosser. Some years ago he travelled to Ibiza for a shoot and feel in love with the rough and ancient beauty of the Balearic island in the Mediterranean Sea. After having travelled between London and Ibiza for some time, he finally decided that maybe this was where he was supposed to be. And so Dylan Rosser packed his stuff, purchased a one way ticket and moved to the Spanish isle 79 kilometres of the coast of Valencia. Once settled in and enjoying the slower life under the Spanish sun, it did occur to Dylan that his life would not be the same as it was before. Sometimes, as an active photographer you need to be in the heart of things. And so he keeps traveling to where his work and his heart brings him. This is how it came to happen that, now living on Ibiza, Dylan rented an apartment for two days in – yes – London, where he set himself up in a mobile studio with the goal to shoot some new additions to his ever growing male form website.
Among many other things, London is also home to the Adonis Cabaret and if one talks about the Adonis Cabaret, one talks about Marshall. Marshall is originally from Bulgaria but moved to the UK when he was 10 years old. Here he developed a great passion for water sports, gymnastics and nutricion which has resulted in his amazing physique, which he now uses for modelling and dancing. Dancing at the Adonis Cabaret where he is one of their star erotic entertainers. Marshall was one of the 4 guys Dylan booked for a shoot in his short stay in his former hometown. A shoot that went so well that we believed it was worthy a cover. I’m sure you agree. And of course, eager as we are to please you, we immediately contacted this Bulgarian Adonis ourselves once we decided to make him our cover boy. And what better way to do that than through the Internet. All went well until Marshall stopped responding. After several tries we called Dylan who then realized he hadn’t heard from the sexy dancer either for quiet some time. The situation became strange and a bit worrying until we finally found out the account Marshall uses on the Internet to stay in touch with everyone had been blocked for the usual reasons of inappropriate content, whatever that might still mean in the 21st century. So nothing to worry about but it does make one realize how depended we have become on our fast ways of traveling, our fast ways of communicating and how lost we are if one link of the chain breaks. It makes the world a faster place, a smaller place and sometimes a little bit more scary. At the end, all was OK. Marshall is fine, Dylan went back to London and back to Ibiza and we have our cover boy. –BM-
