JUST IMAGINE YOU ARE A PHOTOGRAPHER AND YOU WERE ASKED TO WORK ON A CAMPAIGN CONCEPT BASED ON A NEW BRAND NAME, WHICH IS BOYS GET WET. COULD THERE BE ANYTHING MORE CHALLENGING? MORE MIND THOUGHT-PROVOKING? MORE THRILLING? PROBABLY NOT. BECAUSE WORKING FOR A BRAND SUCH AS BOYS GET WET, THERE SEEMS TO BE ONLY ONE DIRECTION TO GO. INDEED, GETTING WET.
It has been a long time since we have seen a surprising newcomer on the already very crowded men’s swimwear market, but this year it happened. BoysGetWet is that newcomer. A new brand sprouted from the minds and creativity of a young, dynamic and demanding team in Spain. Studied to be close to the body, the BoysGetWet pieces are sexy and comfortable and hugging you indeed exactly where you like to be hugged. In other words BGW offers you exclusive collections to really make the difference and to become the centre of attention.
It almost is a given, isn’t it. If you are based in a sunny country like Spain, it is almost impossible to not deliver good stuff. BoysGetWet most certainly knows how to bring nice and attractive swimwear pieces on the market. Not only is the quality top, the collection also offers a wide range of solid/plain colors that are clearly inspired by the sunny spirit of Spain. And than we are not even talking about the patterns and colourful prints.
Photographer Adrian C. Martin was approached to bring the BGW collection to life. And he in his turn recruited Spanish models Jordi Rodriguez and Alexander Pérez to help him doing that. For location they choose Tenerife at the Canary Islands, which also wasn’t a bad choice. Throwing all that in the mix has resulted in a very fresh and energetic campaign, that is the perfect personification of this new and young brand. If we should judge it on all this, the photos, the faces and of course the product, it seems the BoysGetWet awaits a glorious future. –BM-
