IT IS INTERESTING HOW ARTIST CAN MOVE FROM ONE STYLE INTO THE OTHER WITHOUT LOOSING THE QUALITY OF THEIR GREAT WORK AND THAT SPECIAL SOMETHING THAT MAKES IT SO TYPICAL THEM. DYLAN ROSSER GOES MORE ROUGH, AS YOU COULD HAVE SEEN IN THE PREVIEW VIDEO LAST MONDAY. JOE OPPEDISANO GOES EXACTLY THE OTHER DIRECTION.
We know Joe Oppedisano from his super sexy, suggestive and revealing photography. Rough masculine men and aggressive sexuality are synonym for many of Joe’s pictures. But we learned that Joe is capable of doing much more then that (although if that was all he could do, we would still be very happy men). Joe Oppedisano is one of these artists who can smoothly shift from one mood into the other. It doesn’t matter what he does, his work is still a signature for his own unique and qualitative style.
Italian fashion magazine Cellezioni Uomo must have thought the same thing when they asked Joe for the shooting of their tribute of the Calvin Klein man. If there is one thing Calvin Klein is known for, it is probably for pushing the boundaries in their ad campaigns. Think for example of Mark Wahlberg, discretely caressing his own impressive package wrapped in CK underwear, which shot him to fame in both music and film. Or Jeff Aquilon, fearing on a Time Square billboard that made his bulge larger than life (sight). Joe shot several models in a tribute to 15 years Calvin Klein underwear, adding with his own unique style a whole new chapter to this fashion house that turned the underwear industry upside down.
And talking about another direction, Joe takes that quite literally picking up the art of film direction. Check out the music video he did for ex porn star and currently successful club/dance musician Colton Ford. –B-
