Wow ! I know this sounds silly, But the first half of that interview gave me both chills and tears. I have been such a fan on Rick's art for such a long time. I, remember the first time I saw a Rick Day image. I said to myself, that is how a man should look. That article is sensational, and truly special. I am so happy that you sought him out, to find out the human side of the icon Rick Day. So much we didn't know. But so much more to admire.

Rick is a true artist, that coupled with his subjects that contain physical attributes near perfection... makes it hard not to love.

Hard to get excited about his work when he photoshops everything to within an inch of its life. Those aren't real photographs. He might as well draw everything because they're all FAKE.

Wonderful interview with Rick Day. Gives us some insight into this iconic artist's background and personality. And the accompanying photographs aren't bad either! Eagerly looking forward to the release of his new book.

Your work is inspirational! Truly.

"me" makes some interesting comments that I think I disagree with. A photograph is a work of art - it is not to be mistaken for some kind of scientific record of the actual person who was photographed.

Some of these photos I find extremely erotic/attractive, and I find here it's the nudes with the hidden face that are particularly sexy. Frontal or rear views. What IS it about a hidden face that can help make a photo especially erotic?
