A good shoot! Much better than contrived settings most of the photographers try.

Unless my sadly aging memory fails me once again, this remarkable collection of photos has been bouncing around the Internet for quite a while. I dimly recall seeing some of these gorgeous pix early in 2012, perhaps late in 2011.

Is it possible that this splendid collection was a widely published independent enterprise before it was more recently acquired by ES as the flagship in its brilliant Fierce campaign?

Whatever . . .

Model, photographer, animals are all at the top of their game, and it is a real pleasure to feast the eyes upon them.

Alas, it is a shame that ES doesn't make anything in tent and awning sizes for this ancient elephant.

RedBaron, normally we don't comment on comments but in this case and in the brands and photographers defense I felt obliged to do so. Joan Crisol has shot this campaign and the idea is a collaboration between ES and him and unique in its kind. The campaign was shot especially for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection and so, no, it has not been published in 2011. You must have been mistaken. However, it is true that these photos have been shared on the Internet since one month already. It’s a commercial campaign so that makes sense. Plus the images are breath taking which would explain many jump on them. Thanks for your comment.
